Where were you immediately before you arrived here?

Recently, I had the opportunity to spend a few days in Bodrum, Turkey. Work and pleasure mixed together!

What items do you always bring with you when you travel?

A book that is enjoyable enough to get lost in. I just completed reading Normal People by Sally Rooney, and it was one of my favorite books ever, so I decided to start with her very first novel, Conversations with Friends. In addition to a good book, I never leave home without my Estée Lauder Advanced Night Serum, my silk Slip eye mask, and Beauty Chef's Cleanse Beauty Powder. These three items work together to ensure that I get a enough amount of green nutrients when I am away from home.

What are some of your go-to hotels in Cape Town?

When I visited Cape Town earlier this year, I stayed at the Silo Hotel and absolutely adored every minute of my time there. It has an ideal location in the middle of play tic tac toe the city, just above the Zeitz MOCCA gallery, and it is surrounded by both sea and mountain vistas. Additionally, it has immaculate décor, which creates a highly "instagramable" atmosphere, and incredible service.

When is the most favorable time of year to go to Cape Town?

I like the months of March through May in Cape Town. The most of the visitors have already departed, the wind has slowed down, and the temperature has dropped significantly. Don't get me wrong, temperatures will still be in the 30s, but the air has the most lovely vibe to it. Don't believe everything you hear.

What are some of Cape Town's most well regarded dining establishments?

The Chef's Warehouse is one of my all-time favorites, and they have many sites both within and just outside of the city. Dishes fit for sharing that are of a world-class standard and don't break the bank. I would strongly suggest La Tête on Bree Street to anybody who is interested in partaking in an eating experience that covers the whole animal, from nose to tail. Make sure that the madeleines are freshly prepared and that you request them for dessert. If you are seeking for a dining experience that you won't soon forget, The Test Kitchen in Woodstock will provide you just that; however, you will need to make a reservation at least a few weeks in advance in order to get a space there.
