The first internet radio station to ever Qui hit the airwaves was Zero24-7 Web Radio, which was created by BBC veteran Mark Daley and funded by a unique partnership of people. The station was programmed by professional broadcasters, mixed progressive music, and delivered green messages. It was also the first online station to stream live information, using RealAudio streaming over HTTP. It was a big step for the industry and paved the way for many other online stations.
