Path of Exile’s seasonal major content updates keep it captivating. This May, Grinding Gear Games will release its latest expansion along with its own challenge league, called Sentinel. Players also Buy POE Orbs early.

The update will be available on PC on May 13 PDT and on consoles on May 18 PDT. Players already have a general understanding of Sentinel League gameplay and mechanics, and how they affect the player’s gaming experience.

Each Path of Exile league introduces a new gameplay mechanic that significantly changes the way players build characters, earn POE Currency, and manage an ever-expanding endgame. In Sentinel League, players will fight alongside new mechanical partners in Wraeclast. These floating guards are called Sentinels, and they can be found throughout the campaign and endgame.

Sentinels’ primary goal is to empower enemies at the player’s command, which increase the difficulty of encounters, but also increase the potential rewards they drop. Players need to spend POE Currency to enhance their abilities continuously to ensure that the rewards can be received.

Sentinels are divided into three categories, each suited to a unique situation the player stumbles upon. The Stalker Sentinel has a red appearance and can empower enemies as the player moves from one group to another. Pandemonium Sentinel is blue and can chain up many enemies, but can only be used once per map. Apex Sentinels are yellow and can selectively enhance rare enemies and cause them to drop larger-than-usual rewards.

At the start of the league, there is only one Sentinel slot available for players to use actively, but they can unlock two more slots as they progress through the campaign. In this league, players had better live a little more POE Currency at POECurrency.com, to ensure that they have an advantage in the brutal competition.
