A teeing area is the space between two tee markers that extends up to two club-lengths back. A golfer must hit the ball within that rectangle, never in front of or behind it.
Red Reef Family Golf Course
Red Reef Park is located in Boca Raton, one of Florida’s most beautiful coastal cities with exceptional living standards and quality of life. Its oceanfront location on State Road A1A offers swimming, snorkeling and surf fishing. The park also features the Red Reef Executive Golf Course, the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center and extensive picnic facilities. The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. There is a vehicle entry fee of $16 on weekdays and $18 on weekends. Metered parking is available across the street.
The golf course at Red Reef Park is an excellent public course. The nine-hole course is a par 32 and opened in 1957. The course has a classic layout and was renovated in 2001 with the tees, fairways and greens converted to Seashore Paspalum grass. The course is well-maintained and offers scenic views of the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Red Reef Park is a great place to take the whole family for a day of fun in the sun and salt air. It has a range of activities for all ages, including kayaking and swimming. There are plenty of lifeguards and Ocean Rescue personnel on duty to ensure the safety of all visitors. There are also numerous picnic shelters and restrooms for guests to use.
The Boca Raton Resort Club
The Boca Raton Resort Club is a Florida landmark with a storied history and three different luxury hotels spread across its 365 acres. The Cloister, the Yacht Club and the Beach Club offer unique experiences for guests to enjoy. This 18-hole course was designed by Joe Lee and has been welcoming golfers of all skill levels since it opened as an exclusive private club in 2007. It’s a challenging but player-friendly layout that offers scenic views of the surrounding Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. The course features a variety of challenges, including water and sand traps. It also has five sets of tees to make it easier for players of all skill levels.
The member-only clubhouse features many dining options including casual, fine, and gourmet food. It also has 6 Har-Tru lighted tennis courts and an official tennis center. Its fully-equipped fitness center offers a wide variety of group fitness classes. It also has a full social calendar of events for members to enjoy. From movie nights, dancing, book clubs, canasta and bridge in the card rooms, and amazing Sunday brunches, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Boca Greens Country Club offers an ideal West Boca location close to some of Boca Raton’s finest attractions such as Mizner Park, Boca Town Centre Mall, fabulous restaurants, and stunning community parks and gorgeous sandy beaches. Winston Trails Golf Club
The Winston Trails Golf Club is a golf course community located in western Lake Worth, Florida. It is divided into villages and includes 1,891 single-family homes ranging in size from 1300 to more than 4,000 square feet. Residents of Winston Trails enjoy a Joe Lee championship golf course and a public golf facility. This semi-private club offers a state-of-the-art fitness center, 2 resort style pools, tennis courts, basketball court, playgrounds, and walking/jogging trails.
