Please note that Basic Economy tickets remain non-exchangeable and non-refundable in most cases.

For some origin markets, change and cancellation fees will continue to apply for all tickets, including Main Cabin and premium fares.

Cancellation Change Policy Terms Conditions

Travelers who cancel a trip less than 31 days prior to departure will receive a credit in the form of a Delta Vacations travel certificate for the remaining cost of the package if canceled, less any applicable cancellation fees and non-refundable components.
Travelers who cancel their trip 31 days or more before departure will receive:

(i) If you have paid no more than the required deposit amount, a credit in the form of a Delta Vacations travel certificate equal to the amount of the required deposit paid by the traveler less any cancellation fees and non-refundable components, or
(ii) If you have paid more than the required deposit amount, the traveler will receive (1) a credit in the form of a Delta Vacations travel certificate equal to the amount of the required deposit paid by the traveler minus any cancellation fees and non-refundable components and ( 2 ) a refund to the original form of payment for amounts paid in excess of the required minimum deposit.

If the traveler uses miles as a form of payment, the amount refunded will be equal to the value of the miles at the time of cancellation, and will be refunded in the form of a Delta Vacations travel certificate.
If the original form of payment includes a Delta Vacations travel certificate and the traveler cancels the trip at any time, any such credit will be refunded to the original Delta Vacations travel certificate, less applicable cancellation fees and other non-refundable components, and will be subject to the date expiration of the original travel certificate. If the original certificate has expired, no refunds will be processed. Otherwise, the Delta Vacations certificate will have an expiration date of one year from the date of issue.
Examples of "other non-refundable items" are train tickets, event or show tickets, theme park passes, etc.
