Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary the Southern Delhi Ridge of the Aravalli hill range on the Delhi-Haryana border lies in Southern Delhi as well as northern parts of Faridabad and Gurugram districts of Haryana state. Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary covers a 32.71 km area. The biodiversity significance of the rim lies in its merger with Indo-Gangetic plains. The biodiversity significance of Ridge lies in its merger with Indo-Gangetic plains, as it is part of the Northern Aravalli leopard wildlife corridor, a crucial wildlife corridor that starts from the Sariska National Park in Rajasthan, passes through Faridabad and Gurugram districts of Haryana and ends at Delhi Ridge

This conserved area contains one of the last surviving remnants of the Delhi Ridge hill range and its semi-arid forest habitat and its reliant wildlife. Once the whole Delhi Ridge was a forested area, but evolution has destroyed several parts of it.

Sariska to Delhi leopard wildlife corridor, of which Asola Bhatti wildlife sanctuary is one of 

the northernmost important parts. which runs from the Sariska Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan to Delhi Ridge, is a 200 km long critical biodiversity and wildlife corridor

This corridor is a crucial habitat for the Indian leopards and jackals of Aravalli, who generally migrate between Delhi and Sariska. Urban evolution, especially the highways and railways bisecting the Aravalli range and wildlife corridor in specific place pose a great risk. 

There is no most favorable time to visit this preserved Wildlife Sanctuary. Between October to March, residents of the refuge welcome new members in their families. The Sanctuary is accessible from 9 A.M to 5 P.M and can be visited five days a week except for Saturday and Sunday.
